Manager – Business Analysis – Settlement

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager – Business Analysis – Settlement to lead strategic initiatives within its Global Settlement Services organization. Based in Gurgaon, the role focuses on modernising settlement capabilities, enhancing liquidity infrastructure, and improving operational resilience across the Asia‑Pacific region and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute settlement projects that support Mastercard’s growth, market expansion, regulatory compliance, and product innovation.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to design, assess, and implement new settlement capabilities, currencies, services, and operating models.
• Develop business cases and implementation strategies for settlement modernisation and liquidity optimisation.
• Manage relationships with commercial partners, central banks, settlement banks, regulators, and technology teams.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on settlement ecosystem enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale business analysis or transformation projects in payments or financial services.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with exposure to senior leadership, financial institutions, and regulators.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
