Maintenance Engineer – VMC

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer – VMC is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of VMC and CNC machines as well as associated utility equipment. The role focuses on preventive and breakdown maintenance while supporting continuous production flow.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on VMC/CNC machines.
• Handle electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks across DG sets, EB panels, motors, compressors, pumps, and other utility systems.
• Monitor machine alignment, spindle condition, lubrication, and coolant systems to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, checklists, and spare parts inventories.
• Coordinate with vendors for AMC and service support activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during all maintenance operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of VMC/CNC machinery.
• Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical maintenance practices.
• Ability to monitor and adjust machine alignment, spindle health, lubrication, and coolant systems.
• Experience maintaining detailed maintenance logs and managing spare parts.
• Effective coordination skills for vendor and service provider interactions.
• Commitment to safety compliance in an industrial environment.
