Loss Prevention Executive

About the role

The Loss Prevention Executive ensures the safety and security of guests, employees, and assets at The Westin Mumbai. This full‑time position involves proactive patrols, emergency response, and strict adherence to security protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, secure rooms and assist guests with room access.
• Conduct emergency response drills, daily safety inspections, investigations, interviews and key‑control audits.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, authorize and document access to secured areas.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, contact EMS and complete incident reports.
• Defuse disturbances, resolve safety hazards, handle complaints and escort unwelcome persons.
• Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and follow proper code responses.
• Assist management with training, coaching and serve as a role model for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of reports, protect proprietary information and uphold company policies.

Required profile

• Ability to read and verify information in various formats and visually inspect tools or equipment.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, run, lift up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
• Strong communication skills, professional appearance and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to complete safety training, certifications and adhere to uniform standards.
