About the role
The Legal Counsel will join the Bangalore office of a diversified conglomerate, providing legal support primarily on commercial agreements. The role requires a post‑qualification experience of 5‑7 years and a strong background in handling commercial contracts, preferably from a law‑firm environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Advise internal business units on legal risks and compliance matters.
- Ensure contracts align with applicable Indian laws and corporate policies.
- Support dispute resolution and contract management processes.
Required profile
- 5‑7 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
- Proven track record in commercial contract work.
- Experience gained in a law firm is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced corporate setting.
Required skills
- Commercial contract drafting.

- Knowledge of Indian commercial law.
