Lead Java Developer (Spring Boot & Microservices)

About the role

Synechron is hiring a Lead Java Developer in Bengaluru (Bellandur) who will lead a team of Java developers and deliver high-quality software. The role covers designing and implementing scalable Java solutions, working with cross-functional teams and driving innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers and ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop, test and deploy Java-based applications and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and implement new technologies.

Required profile

• At least 4-10 years of experience in Java development.
• Proven experience leading a team of Java developers.
• Previous experience delivering Java-based solutions for a large enterprise.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Advanced certifications in Java development (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 11 Developer).

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of Java programming and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud computing.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Communication, leadership and collaboration skills, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
