Lead I - Wintel Administration

About the role

We are looking for a Lead I – Wintel Administration professional to own patch management and server administration across Windows, Linux and virtualised environments. The role supports 24/7 operations and works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure system stability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patch management for Windows Server (2012R2, 2016, 2019, 2022), Linux servers and ESXi hosts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess patch requirements, prioritise work and schedule maintenance windows.
• Maintain and implement security antivirus solutions in enterprise environments.
• Administer VMware virtual machines, including provisioning, monitoring and patching.
• Apply ITIL V4 best practices to streamline patching processes and improve service delivery.
• Stay current on industry trends, security advisories and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of hands‑on experience in Windows Server administration and patching.
• Solid knowledge of Linux server and ESXi patching methodologies.
• Strong VMware administration skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL V4 concepts or certification.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends, to support 24/7 services.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Optional experience with Hyper‑V clusters, AWS cloud administration and Oracle DBA concepts.
