Junior Engineer – Welding & Fabrication

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Engineer to operate as a Welder/Forming/AMF Fixture check operator in our Multi‑modal Manufacturing Facility. The role involves performing welding, forming, and assembly of aerospace components while ensuring defect‑free parts and continuous productivity improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform TIG and orbital welding of tubes, air manifolds, and sheet‑metal parts made from stainless steel and Inconel.
• Repair defective stainless steel and Inconel castings.
• Operate press machines (hydraulic and mechanical) for metal forming, preferably hydro‑forming.
• Assemble welded products and ensure compliance with EHS and quality system regulations.
• Read and interpret 2‑D drawings, GD&T, SOPs, and manuals to determine final product specifications.
• Maintain shift output with high safety and quality integrity.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in fabrication and welding of air manifolds and sheet‑metal parts.
• Diploma in a relevant technical field.
• Certification in welding processes per AWS D17.1 for 6G position with II A & III B materials.
• Willingness to work in shifts and follow organisational policies.
