Junior Accountant – GST, Tally & Income Tax

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our dynamic CA firm in Kolkata. The successful candidate will handle day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensure compliance with GST and Income Tax regulations, and support audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and file GST returns and other statutory compliance documents.
• Handle income tax filings and ensure adherence to tax laws.
• Maintain client accounts, prepare financial statements, and support audit requirements.
• Assist with statutory reporting and other finance‑related duties.

Required profile

• B.Com degree.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• GST compliance and return preparation.
• Income Tax filing and regulations.
• Proficiency with Tally accounting software.
