Java Technical Lead – FinTech Payments

About the role

We are seeking a senior Java Technical Lead to drive the development of a cutting‑edge FinTech payments platform. Based in Hyderabad, you will lead a high‑performing engineering team, shape the technical architecture and deliver secure, high‑throughput financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of engineers, handling recruitment, onboarding and performance reviews.
• Define and execute the technical strategy and micro‑services architecture for a scalable, secure FinTech application.
• Design, develop and deploy Java‑based microservices using Spring Boot, Hibernate and RESTful APIs.
• Architect cloud deployments on AWS, Azure or GCP, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Implement monitoring and observability with DataDog, Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations such as GDPR and PCI DSS.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 10+ years of Java development experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to deliver secure, high‑performance applications in a regulated environment.

Required skills

• Java (JDK 17+), Spring Boot, Lombok, Hibernate.
• Micro‑services design, RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Monitoring tools (DataDog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Message and streaming systems (Kafka, Hadoop).
• Front‑end basics (React or Angular) – preferred.
