Site Reliability Engineer – Cloud Networking

About the role

We are looking for Site Reliability Engineers who can manage, maintain and troubleshoot Alkira's world‑class cloud networking solution round the clock. The role offers exposure to microservices, DevOps methodologies, Kubernetes, Terraform, data networking and security within a product‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure availability and integrity of the infrastructure that underpins Alkira’s Cloud Networking platform.
• Hold production systems together and troubleshoot issues that arise in production deployments.
• Provide 24x7 coverage as part of scheduled shift and on‑call rotation.
• Monitor, manage, triage and document infrastructure issues using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Jira.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using CI/CD pipelines.
• Build tools to evolve how the solution is maintained and monitored.
• Develop and execute system and integration test plans.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience managing production systems.
• Self‑starter with a solution‑oriented mindset.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience with computer networking and network technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Concourse‑CI or Jenkins.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to quickly grasp new concepts.
• Highly desirable: HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate.
