About the role
The IT Support Officer will install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and software for a steel manufacturing unit in Mirzapur. The role provides essential technical assistance to users through phone, remote access, or on‑site support.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Set up, upgrade, and maintain workstations, servers, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software faults, documenting all incidents.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date ticketing system and ensure timely closure of tickets.
Required profile
- 3 to 6 years of relevant IT support experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools.
