IT Recruiter (Technical Recruitment)

About the role

Hard n Soft Technologies is hiring a full-time IT Recruiter in its Chennai corporate office. The recruiter manages end-to-end recruitment of software engineers, system administrators, cloud specialists and other technical staff, turning engineering requirements into targeted hiring pipelines. The role works directly with hiring managers and requires independent handling of the full recruitment process.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leads and hiring managers to analyse tech stacks, project goals and role specifications.
• Sourcing active and passive candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub and Stack Overflow, and Boolean search strings.
• Screen resumes for key skills and run structured pre-screen interviews covering hard and soft skills.
• Track candidates through every stage so there are no drop-offs.
• Coordinate technical assessments, live coding rounds and panel interviews, collecting feedback from engineering teams.
• Support salary negotiations, manage counteroffers and guide selected candidates through onboarding paperwork.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in technical or IT recruitment.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of IT terminology, programming languages, cloud platforms and DevOps tools.
• Proficiency in Boolean searching, X-ray searching and digital networking.
• Experience with ATS and job portals.
