IT Infrastructure Lead – Vizag Cement Works

About the role

The IT Infrastructure Lead will drive the design, implementation, and continuous optimisation of the plant’s technology environment. This role ensures secure, resilient and highly‑available IT services that support seamless operations and the strategic growth of the cement business.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor IT infrastructure projects across all plant locations, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Maintain network and systems availability, managing incidents and implementing corrective actions promptly.
• Oversee IT asset lifecycle, user management and compliance with information‑security standards (ISMS/ISO 27001).
• Coordinate with departmental heads, central IT teams and vendors to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement, service‑level adherence and high user‑satisfaction through proactive support and innovation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale IT infrastructure programmes in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of information‑security frameworks and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work across multiple sites.
• Result‑oriented mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
