IT Auditor – SOC

About the role

The IT Auditor – SOC will execute IT compliance assessments such as SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 and ISO 27001 engagements for A‑LIGN’s clients. Working under the guidance of senior consultants, you will support project delivery, client communication and the overall growth of the fast‑paced compliance practice.

Key responsibilities

• Perform SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 and related compliance engagements under senior supervision.
• Create meeting agendas, participate in client meetings and nurture client relationships.
• Conduct audit testing, gather evidence, prepare lead sheets and draft reports.
• Communicate findings before, during and after on‑site visits and provide weekly status updates.
• Organise client documentation in A‑LIGN’s OneDrive and flag potential issues to management.
• Travel occasionally to client locations as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, management information systems or related field.
• 1‑3 years of IT audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 or mid‑tier consulting firm.
• Working towards CPA, CISA, CISSP or similar certifications.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and OneDrive.
• Knowledge of IT compliance standards: SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.
