Senior Software Engineer – C#/.NET Core

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer at SITA you will help deliver secure, reliable systems for the global air travel industry. You will work in a self‑organising Scrum team, collaborating with colleagues across multiple technologies to design and implement new features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test new features based on customer requirements.
• Mentor junior developers and ensure coding standards are followed.
• Estimate technical effort and contribute to sprint planning.
• Maintain high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle, from specification to production deployment.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with C# and .NET Core.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with microservice architecture and JSON REST APIs.
• Familiarity with defect lifecycle, unit testing, and version control.
