Internship - Aircraft Systems Engineering

About the role

Join Airbus India's Systems Department and work on aircraft controls, propulsion, fluid and hydro‑mechanical systems, flight warning, communication, navigation, surveillance and helicopter avionics. This 6‑month internship starts in January 2027 and offers hands‑on experience in systems engineering, modelling and simulation.

Key responsibilities

• Support systems engineering processes, modelling and simulation for design, development, verification and certification of aircraft and helicopter systems.
• Participate in automation and improvement projects that aid design, development or testing of various aircraft systems.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for system requirements, design and certification compliance.
• Assist with system integration and verification & validation activities.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a B.E., B.Tech, M.E. or M.Tech in Aerospace, Mechanical, Avionics, Electrical, Electronics or Communication Engineering.
• Knowledge in control systems, fluid‑hydro mechanical systems, avionics, radio communication or propulsion control systems.
• Strong problem‑solving, logical thinking and ability to work in a multicultural, multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modelling tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape, SCADE, AMESIM or Dymola.
• Programming skills in Python, C or C++ (optional but advantageous).
• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) is a plus.
