India Team Leader, Business Services

About the role

Waste Management is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee a group of 25‑50 professionals within its Business Services function in India. The role focuses on managing BPO supervisors and processors handling accounts payable, collections, and sales activities, ensuring high‑quality output and alignment with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of BPO supervisors and processors across accounts payable, collections, and sales.
• Produce timely MIS reports and key performance metrics for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global partners to meet accuracy and timeliness targets.
• Identify and resolve quality‑control issues in problem queues.
• Maintain productivity standards and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching.
• Coordinate training initiatives and onboard new hires to company standards.
• Foster professional relationships with internal customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or high school diploma with at least four years of relevant experience.
• Minimum six years of experience in audit, accounts, or finance.
• At least two years of experience managing a team of similar size.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and reasoning abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
