Senior Accountant

About the role

PR 24x7 is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance and produce accurate financial reports. The role involves managing GST filings, payroll statutory contributions and supporting audit processes within a fast‑growing communications consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting transactions and maintain general ledgers.
• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure ongoing GST compliance.
• Handle statutory compliance for PF, ESI and gratuity.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Prepare financial statements, reports and supporting schedules.
• Conduct ledger and expense analysis to identify discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank, vendor and other financial accounts.
• Monitor receivables, payables and outstanding balances.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST, PF, ESI and gratuity compliance.
• Understanding of audit processes and financial documentation.
• Attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy.
• Good communication, coordination and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Tally/ERP accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience with GST return preparation.
• Hands‑on experience with PF, ESI and gratuity statutory filings.
