Head of Finance

About the role

MicroMitti, a co-investment PropTech platform founded in 2024 and headquartered in Indore, is hiring a Head of Finance. The role owns the day-to-day finance function and reports to the Founder & CEO, working closely with the CFO and COO. It is responsible for controls, reporting integrity, accounting, compliance and collections, and for providing the CFO and CEO with clean, audit-grade numbers for investor reporting and decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Establish one reliable set of numbers per project across Sales, Finance, Legal and Construction, and deliver timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and project-wise P&L.
• Build dashboards and MIS that leadership and the CFO can trust, and support diligence during fundraising.
• Own accounting, controls, approval frameworks and treasury, and build audit readiness from the ground up.
• Track and help arrest the EBITDA trajectory, and maintain project-level unit economics (ROI, IRR, yield, cost per acquisition).
• Build and run a collections engine to turn booked revenue into cash, with Madhuvan receivables as an immediate priority.
• Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, income tax, Companies Act filings) and coordinate with auditors, consultants and tax advisors.
• Build and mentor the accounts and finance team, and install scalable finance processes and SOPs.

Required profile

• 10-15 years in finance, controllership or financial reporting, ideally in real estate, infrastructure or PropTech.
• Proven record of building or fixing a finance function: clean MIS, controls, compliance and collections in a growing company.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) strongly preferred; MBA (Finance) an advantage.
• Comfortable in a founder-led, Indore-based environment.
