About the role

Lead the design, development, integration, and enhancement of IDE and developer tooling solutions. Drive technical solutions that improve developer experience, productivity, code quality, and software delivery efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, integration, and enhancement of IDE and developer tooling solutions.
• Drive technical solutions that improve developer experience, productivity, code quality, and software delivery efficiency.
• Develop and customize IDE plugins, extensions, integrations, and developer workflows.
• Provide technical leadership across code editing, build, debugging, testing, source control, and deployment workflows.
• Evaluate and integrate modern IDE capabilities such as intelligent code completion, code analysis, refactoring, debugging, and developer automation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, Platform, Security, and Product teams to deliver effective tooling solutions.
• Guide and mentor engineers through technical design, development, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
• Drive engineering standards, reusable tooling, automation, and continuous improvement across development teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of overall software engineering experience with strong focus on developer tooling and IDE platforms.
• Strong understanding of modern Integrated Development Environments and software development workflows.
• Proven ability to drive technical design and make architecture decisions for complex tooling solutions.
• Strong technical leadership, mentoring, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
