ICU Medical Officer / Resident Doctor (MBBS/BAMS/BHMS)

About the role

We are a well‑established multispecialty hospital in Mumbai seeking enthusiastic medical professionals to join our Intensive Care Unit. As an ICU Medical Officer / Resident Doctor you will work side‑by‑side with senior Intensivists, gaining hands‑on experience in critical patient management and emergency care.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage critically ill patients, ensuring continuous high‑quality care.
• Respond rapidly to emergency situations, including Code Blue, to stabilise patients.
• Assist senior consultants and Intensivists with critical procedures and treatment planning.
• Conduct regular patient check‑ups, track vital signs, and administer medications or IV fluids.
• Coordinate smooth handovers with nursing staff and maintain clear documentation.
• Communicate patient status to families with empathy and clarity.

Required profile

• MBBS, BAMS or BHMS degree.
• Prior ICU training is mandatory.
• 1–3 years of experience in ICU, critical care or emergency settings.
• Valid registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council or equivalent.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with patient monitoring systems.
• Basic airway management techniques.
