About the role

Heart & Soul, a design‑led Indian ethnic wear brand, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to shape people practices, streamline HR operations, and nurture a high‑performing workplace culture as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and hiring across all workforce levels, ensuring cultural fit.
• Oversee payroll, attendance, leave management, and day‑to‑day HR operations.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements and internal policies.
• Drive team‑engagement initiatives, address grievances, and promote a respectful workplace.
• Build strong relationships with team members, support their growth, and create a motivating environment.
• Align and manage both blue‑collar and white‑collar teams, fostering discipline and accountability.
• Maintain accurate employee records and continuously improve HR policies and processes.
• Lead performance‑management cycles, appraisals, development and retention programs.
• Design and implement efficient, people‑focused HR systems to support organisational growth.

Required profile

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Experience in HR within manufacturing or garment industry preferred.
• Proven ability to manage both blue‑collar and white‑collar teams.
• High integrity, confidentiality, emotional intelligence and strong documentation orientation.
• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented, proactive approach with the ability to balance people sensitivity and business requirements.
