HR Specialist – Operations, Compliance & Employee Support

About the role

The HR Specialist is responsible for executing core HR processes, ensuring legal compliance, and providing high‑quality support to both corporate staff and field teams. The role demands an organized, adaptable professional passionate about fostering an inclusive workplace in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee and contractor records, including driver‑partner profiles, while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
• Support HR administrative processes, government reporting, audit preparation, and accurate payroll and benefits administration.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, delivering guidance on HR policies, internal communications, and engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance to manage timekeeping, payroll preparation, and resolution of payroll discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑4 years of experience in HR operations, payroll, or generalist roles, preferably in fleet management, transportation or mobility.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, employee benefits and statutory compliance.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, with excellent problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience with HRIS, time‑keeping and payroll software such as Sprout, SAP or Oracle.
