HR Operations Manager – Talent Consulting (Chennai)

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager to lead HR Operations within its Talent Consulting practice in Chennai. The role partners with business leaders to deliver strategic HR solutions, enhance employee experience, and support the firm’s employer value proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end HR processes for a workforce of 400‑600 employees.
• Build and maintain employee networks to gather real‑time insights for decision‑making.
• Coach counsellors on people‑related and process matters.
• Support the design and execution of employee engagement initiatives.
• Advise on and communicate new HR policies and procedures.
• Conduct focus‑group discussions following the ECHO framework.
• Collaborate with business leads on talent management, compliance, and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing HR operations for large employee groups.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and coaching abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to drive employee advocacy and engagement.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with talent acquisition, learning, mobility, compensation, and HR analytics teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HR systems and data reporting tools.
• Familiarity with HR policy implementation and compliance.
