HR Business Partner (Early Career)

About the role

QI Spine is looking for an early‑career HR Business Partner to support the people agenda across its clinical and corporate teams in Mumbai. This hands‑on position offers the chance to learn the full HRBP toolkit while partnering with managers, driving engagement, and executing core HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on day‑to‑day HR matters.
• Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, exits and full‑and‑final coordination.
• Lead engagement initiatives, pulse surveys and follow‑up action planning to boost retention and morale.
• Partner with managers on performance management cycles – goal‑setting, reviews and development conversations.
• Conduct stay and exit interviews, analyse attrition drivers and share insights.
• Support reward & recognition programs, employee communications and culture‑building activities.
• Maintain accurate HR data, dashboards and trackers; generate people metrics for business reviews.
• Assist in rolling out HR policies and ensure consistent, fair application across teams.
• Handle basic employee grievances and appropriately escalate complex ER matters.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of HR experience, preferably in an HRBP, generalist or employee relations role.
• MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable engaging frontline clinical staff and corporate teams.
• Analytical mindset with ability to work with Excel and HR dashboards.
• High ownership, empathy and ability to build trust quickly.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, growing environment with evolving processes.
