About the role

APM Terminals Gujarat Pipavav (GPPL) is seeking a People Partner to work onsite in Pipavav, Gujarat. You will partner closely with senior leaders to shape people strategy, drive performance, and support a dynamic operational environment at one of India’s key gateway ports.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes ensuring fairness and compliance.
• Drive performance management, objective setting, appraisal cycles and engagement surveys.
• Provide consultative support to leaders on org design, talent development, and people cases.
• Own people analytics, budgeting, payroll coordination and compensation & benefits processes.
• Collaborate with regional EEO and global HR functions to resolve complex cases and improve policies.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of HR Business Partner experience in a multicultural, fast‑moving matrix environment.
• Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources.
• Fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
