HR Business Partner Manager

About the role

The Manager HR Business Partner will lead the implementation of HR policies, processes and programs for the West Region of Assystem in India. Reporting to the Lead – HRBP, the role focuses on operational HR delivery across the employee lifecycle, ensuring consistency and timely execution of initiatives aligned with corporate frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and induction for all new joiners.
• Identify regional learning needs and coordinate capability‑building programs with L&D.
• Partner with business units to deliver performance management, internal mobility, diversity & inclusion, talent management, engagement and exit processes.
• Develop and execute employee engagement and wellness activities.
• Handle HR compliance matters, including disciplinary issues and facility standards.
• Oversee mobilization and demobilization of project resources in the West region.
• Prepare regular HR reports on hiring, attrition, training, engagement and issue resolution.

Required profile

• MBA or Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of HR experience, preferably in civil, infrastructure, engineering or power sectors.
• Strong knowledge of HR disciplines such as payroll compliance, HR operations, diversity and performance management.
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations and company policies.
