Housekeeping Utility

About the role

The Housekeeping Utility is responsible for delivering high‑quality cleaning and cabin services on board, ensuring public and crew areas meet company standards and public health regulations. The role supports guest satisfaction through meticulous upkeep of cabins, public spaces, and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of assigned public and crew areas, including vacuuming, dusting, polishing, high‑dusting, garbage removal, and sanitising.
• Perform daily cleaning of officer cabins and bathrooms to the highest standards.
• Provide laundry and valet services for officer cabins, as well as turn‑down service where applicable.
• Record daily sanitation activities in the log and follow outbreak‑response procedures.
• Assist teammates, handle requisition distribution, towel delivery, and wheelchair assistance as needed.
• Manage cleaning chemicals, ensure proper storage, and handle plant watering duties when assigned.
• Participate in embarkation/disembarkation tasks, daily briefings, and maintain communication across departments.
• Respect privacy, demonstrate discretion, and handle luggage and inventory tasks.
