Housekeeping Guest Service Associate

About the role

The Housekeeping Guest Service Associate works on‑site in Pune to ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, safe and well presented. The role combines housekeeping duties with direct guest interaction, supporting a seamless stay for business and leisure travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Make beds, replenish amenities, dust, vacuum and maintain the overall cleanliness of guest rooms and public spaces.
• Inspect rooms and facilities to confirm they are in good working order and report any maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, providing courteous assistance and coordinating with the front office and other departments.
• Follow hygiene, safety and brand standards in all housekeeping activities.
• Support inventory control for linens, supplies and housekeeping equipment.

Required profile

• Strong guest‑focused attitude with the ability to handle requests and resolve concerns professionally.
• Customer service skills and basic understanding of reservations to communicate room status and special requirements.
• Effective communication, teamwork and time‑management abilities.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality or hotel operations is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and to perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting and bending.
• Minimum high school education; hospitality or housekeeping certification is a plus.
