Indian Chef – Pure Veg Restaurant & Banquets

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Indian Chef to lead the kitchen of our pure‑veg restaurant and banquet operations across Pune, Mumbai and Nashik. The role focuses on delivering authentic North and South Indian dishes while upholding the highest standards of taste, presentation, hygiene and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare authentic North Indian, South Indian and regional Indian dishes, including curries and gravies.
• Manage daily food preparation, cooking, plating and ensure consistency in taste and quality.
• Control kitchen inventory, stock levels and portion sizes, minimizing waste.
• Maintain strict hygiene, food safety and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth production for restaurant service, banquets and events.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years of experience as an Indian Chef in hotels, restaurants or banquet settings.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Indian spices, gravies, curries and cooking techniques.
• Understanding of hygiene and food‑safety practices.
