Housekeeping Executive (Full‑time)

About the role

The Housekeeping Executive ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet Marriott’s quality standards. Working closely with housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry teams, this role coordinates daily cleaning activities and resolves any discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool after cleaning to verify quality.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning and update departing‑room status.
• Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to coordinate efforts.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms, communicate changes to the next shift.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
• Follow all company, safety and security policies; report hazards or incidents.
• Welcome guests, address service needs and assist individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift ≤ 55 lb unaided and >55 lb with assistance; comfortable moving carts on uneven surfaces.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift.

Required skills

• Computer operation – ability to enter and retrieve information using hotel systems or point‑of‑sale software.
