Housekeeping Associate – Public Areas

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Housekeeping Associate to keep the public areas of Hotel Centre Point in Nagpur spotless and welcoming. You will work on‑site, maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of lobbies, corridors, restrooms, banquet pre‑function spaces and restaurant zones.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust and polish floors, furniture and fixtures in all guest‑facing areas.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap and paper towels.
• Handle basic laundry duties for public‑area linens and ensure proper storage.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the relevant department.
• Assist room attendants and other housekeeping team members as needed.
• Follow hotel SOPs, safety guidelines and sanitation standards at all times.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic high school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality or facilities maintenance is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety practices.
• Laundry handling for public‑area linens.
