Head of Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Head of Finance & Accounting will lead the finance function for the legal entity covering all locations, reporting directly to the CFO. This senior position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective treasury management, compliance with tax and audit requirements, and supporting strategic growth projects.

Key responsibilities

• Accounting: ensure completeness of accounting data, compliance with local GAAP, IFRS and corporate reporting guidelines.
• Finance & Treasury: plan fund requirements, coordinate with corporate treasury on capital structure and funding sources, and optimise treasury costs.
• Audit management: prepare for IFRS, statutory and tax audits, coordinate with auditors and secure clean audit reports.
• Insurance & risk: identify insurance needs, work with global teams to select insurers and manage claim handling.
• Taxation: oversee day‑to‑day tax compliance, file returns, interact with tax authorities and drive tax planning, including transfer pricing.
• Credit control & receivables: set credit limits, monitor overdue receivables, support collections and corporate credit control.
• Strategic projects: support M&A integration, green‑field/brown‑field expansions and long‑term business planning.

Required profile

• More than 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, taxation and transfer pricing.
• Professional qualification such as CA or CPA.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing finance teams.
• Proven ability to work with global managers and coordinate cross‑border initiatives.

Required skills

• SAP (or similar ERP) systems.
• Broad knowledge of ERP environments.
