Head of Digital Omnichannel

About the role

Chalhoub Group's Capability Hub, the group's technology and innovation hub, is hiring a Head of Digital Omnichannel in Bangalore. The role leads the Digital Delivery function across the digital commerce portfolio, turning business requirements into defined features and delivery outcomes that improve customer journeys across the group's digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the global digital commerce roadmap into a high-velocity delivery portfolio, aligning multi-squad capacity with brand priorities and partnering with Dubai
• Direct complex delivery initiatives with the CPO office, regional brand heads and joint-venture partners
• Drive value (conversion, AOV, adoption) by optimizing cross-omni dependencies and mitigating risks
• Champion Agile maturity and delivery excellence across the Omnichannel domain
• Cultivate a guild of Capability Analysts and Leads, improving Sprint Velocity, Predictability Score and Cycle Time, and setting Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards
• Develop the monthly SLA report for brands and handle billing across all digital squads
• Balance delivery demand against squad capacity and lead PI planning and delivery governance, keeping objectives, risks, decisions and dependencies in Confluence

Required profile

• 12 to 15 years in digital commerce, including at least 10 years in digital development and leading multi-squad delivery and teams
• Experience delivering end-to-end e-commerce capabilities, from site redesigns and checkout to payments, mobile apps, search, recommendations and browse-to-buy
• Agile delivery at scale, including PI planning, capacity planning and delivery governance
• Preferred: retail or e-commerce background, and profiles such as Head of Digital, Digital Lead, Lead Omnichannel Digital or Lead of E-commerce

Required skills

• Jira and Confluence for planning, documentation and reporting
• Digital commerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Shopify
• Billing, cost recovery or commercial governance in an internal agency or shared services model
• Scrum Master or SAFe certification is a plus
