Senior Software Engineer - Automotive CRM Platform

About the role

Epsilon's Automotive Practice, part of the Publicis Groupe group, is a fast-growing team supporting OEMs and dealerships across North America with its service reminder platform and digital media solutions. It is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Bengaluru to work on a complex automotive CRM platform, delivering customized digital marketing solutions for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and design new and enhanced features according to business requirements, then develop them as per the design.
• Set up and configure the development environment and ensure timely delivery of releases.
• Review code, mentor and coach team members, and take responsibility for the quality and delivery of development work.
• Communicate with QA, product and production support teams, help troubleshoot issues and assist with reporting tasks.
• Develop automation for operational tasks, support system patches and version upgrades, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers and business analysts on project plans, estimates and documentation, and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience as a developer.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Full-stack ability and ability to design high-performance, extensible systems with code reuse.
• Ability to mentor 3-4 developers and work with geographically distributed teams under tight deadlines.
• Experience with performance tuning, application monitoring and production support, and with migration strategies from legacy systems.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of the application development lifecycle.

Required skills

• Angular 18+ and front-end development.
• TypeScript, JavaScript and Node.js microservices.
• HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap 4; Eureka and Molecular frameworks.
• Azure DevOps (ADO) CI/CD pipeline, Git, TFS, VS Code, WinSCP, PuTTY.
• Formly is a plus; AI tool usage and AI architectural understanding are a plus.
