Guest Service Associate - F&B Service

About the role

The Guest Service Associate works in the Food & Beverage area of a Marriott hotel, delivering high‑quality service to guests by serving meals, beverages and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests according to service standards.
• Set tables for various events, answer menu questions and communicate special dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Record orders and transactions in the MICROS POS system.
• Check guest satisfaction throughout the service and address any issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Present accurate checks, process payments and adhere to all company safety and security policies.
• Welcome guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and uphold a professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS POS system.
