Growth & Community Lead

About the role

NetaSampark is a civic engagement platform that enables citizens to participate in democracy beyond election day. We are looking for a Growth & Community Lead who will drive citizen acquisition, activation, and retention while building vibrant online and offline communities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute campaigns that encourage citizens to vote in polls, support ideas, and actively participate.
• Grow NetaSampark’s presence on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and other digital channels.
• Develop and manage referral, sharing, and partnership programs with RWAs, colleges, NGOs, youth groups and other civic organisations.
• Identify and collaborate with influencers, community ambassadors, and local partners to attract new users.
• Track the growth funnel (visitors → registrations → participation → returning users) and run weekly growth experiments.
• Work closely with the content team to turn poll results and citizen ideas into engaging campaigns.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in growth, community building, digital marketing or a startup environment.
• Proven track record of growing a community or product, not just managing social media.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, WhatsApp and digital community dynamics.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, comfortable approaching organisations and potential partners.
• Data‑driven mindset with solid analytics experience.
• Highly proactive, experimental and passionate about Indian democracy and civic issues.
