Functional Consultant - School Implementation

About the role

Micron ERP builds school management software for private schools across Punjab and India, and is looking for a Functional Consultant in Mohali. The role bridges the product and the schools that use it: configuring the platform for each school, demonstrating it to prospects and training staff. It is not a programming or software development role.

Key responsibilities

• Demo the platform to prospective schools via calls or visits, answering functional questions and tailoring presentations to the school's size, board type and needs
• Configure the platform for each new school, including classes, sections, subjects, staff, fee structures and timetables, and set up attendance, examination and fee collection modules
• Ensure each setup is accurate and complete before go-live, coordinating with the technology team on configuration issues
• Train principals, teachers and admin staff, create simple training materials and hold in-person or remote sessions
• Support schools after go-live, distinguish user errors from technical issues, gather feedback and share insights with the founding team

Required profile

• Graduate in any stream; a technical background is a plus but not required
• Strong understanding of how software works from a user's perspective, without needing to code
• Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to principals and decision-makers
• Patient, detail-oriented and organised
• Fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and English
• Prior experience in EdTech, software implementation, training or client-facing roles is a strong advantage
