Product Advisor - School Operations

About the role

Micron ERP builds school management software for private schools across Punjab and India. It is looking for an experienced school Principal, Vice Principal or senior School Administrator to act as a part-time Product Advisor, giving real feedback on the product. The role takes about 20-30 hours per month, with 2-4 scheduled meetings with the founding and product team and asynchronous feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Review new features before launch and share the daily challenges principals and staff face, such as attendance, fees, exams and compliance
• Help prioritise what to build next and flag features that would not work in real classrooms or offices
• Advise on how school staff resist or adapt to new software and review training materials
• Occasionally join demo calls with prospective schools and help the sales team understand principal objections
• Translate technical features into language for school decision-makers and contribute to case studies and marketing content

Required profile

• Minimum 8-10 years as a School Principal, Vice Principal or senior School Administrator
• Hands-on experience managing admissions, attendance, fees, exams and staff coordination
• Based in Punjab; Mohali, Chandigarh or nearby preferred, with occasional office visits
• Currently active, recently retired or working part-time in education
• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Punjabi

Required skills

• Comfortable using smartphones and basic software; no coding required
• Ability to give honest, direct feedback
