Intern - QA & Tech Support

About the role

Micron ERP builds school management software for private schools across Punjab and India. It is an early-stage EdTech startup and is looking for a curious, detail-oriented and tech-comfortable intern for its QA and Tech Support team in Mohali. The internship is full time, lasts 3-6 months with a full-time conversion opportunity, and pays a stipend of 5,000-8,000 INR per month. You will test the mobile app and web platform before each release, help school staff resolve queries and be mentored by a senior mobile developer.

Key responsibilities

• Test new features on the mobile app and web platform before every release, across multiple Android devices and screen sizes
• Log bugs with steps to reproduce, screenshots and device details, retest fixes and maintain test case checklists for attendance, fee collection, results and timetable
• Handle basic queries from schools via WhatsApp and email, guide teachers, admins and accountants, and escalate complex issues to the senior developer
• Create simple how-to guides and FAQs for school staff
• Maintain a bug log, document resolved issues and help build a knowledge base of common school queries

Required profile

• Pursuing or recently completed BCA, B.Tech, BSc IT or similar technical degree
• Based in Punjab (Ludhiana, Mohali, Pathankot or nearby)
• Comfortable with smartphones, mobile apps and web browsers
• Good attention to detail and clear communication in Punjabi, Hindi and English
• Patience and empathy, able to explain technology to non-technical school staff
• Available full time, at least 6 hours per day
