Fullstack Java & React Software Engineer II

About the role

Join Deloitte’s AI & Engineering team as a Software Engineer II, delivering end‑to‑end solutions that span backend Java services and modern React front‑ends. You will work on high‑impact projects for enterprise clients, applying best‑in‑class engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and micro‑services architecture.
• Build and enhance React applications with TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and integrate them with RESTful or GraphQL services.
• Evaluate solution options, identify risks, and contribute to secure, scalable, and maintainable design decisions.
• Perform testing, debugging, defect management, documentation, and production issue resolution throughout the software lifecycle.
• Support process improvements, automation, delivery metric tracking, knowledge sharing, and creation of tools or accelerators.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of hands‑on experience with Java (8+) and Spring ecosystem, including micro‑services, RESTful APIs, and security patterns.
• 4–7 years of experience building production‑grade React applications using TypeScript, state‑management libraries, and UI best practices.
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to work directly with clients and cross‑functional teams.
