Full-time Accountant – Udaipur

About the role

Fur Ball Story is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Accountant to join its finance team in Udaipur. You will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting the company’s growth across its pet‑care product and service lines.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions in Tally and maintain general ledgers, journal entries, and monthly closings.
• Reconcile customer, vendor, bank, payment‑gateway and marketplace accounts, matching e‑commerce sales with accounting records.
• Manage accounts receivable – monitor collections, follow up on outstanding balances and prepare ageing reports.
• Manage accounts payable – verify vendor invoices, process payments and ensure timely settlement of dues.
• Handle GST compliance, reconcile purchase records with GSTR‑2B, verify ITC eligibility and assist with GST return filing.
• Oversee e‑commerce and D2C accounting, reconciling settlements, refunds, returns, commissions and marketplace deductions.
• Support financial reporting, MIS preparation, budgeting, forecasting and audit documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably in an e‑commerce or product‑based environment.
• Ability to commute to or relocate to Gurugram, Haryana if required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tally accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of GST compliance and filing procedures.
• Experience in reconciling multi‑channel sales (marketplaces, D2C).
