Founding Finance Manager

About the role

This is the first dedicated finance position for a fast‑growing portfolio of software companies. You will build the finance function from the ground up, working directly with the founder on high‑impact decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement accounting structures, chart of accounts, and reporting lines for existing and newly acquired entities.
• Set up, clean, and maintain books for early‑stage companies, ensuring clear separation of business lines.
• Produce profit‑and‑loss reports by company, app, and business line, including revenue, costs, CAC/LTV, ROI, and performance trends.
• Manage month‑end close, reconciliations, inter‑company balances, allocations, and recurring reporting across multiple entities.
• Investigate accounting discrepancies, misallocations, missing records, and potential fraud.
• Support acquisition activities: target analysis, diligence, seller number verification, scenario modeling, and post‑acquisition performance tracking.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Big 4 audit or US‑focused accounting.
• Exceptional analytical ability, proactive mindset, and strong judgment.
• Comfortable handling complex, ambiguous problems and communicating with stakeholders.
