Forward Deployed Engineer – Implementation Partners

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer for Implementation Partners, you will act as the technical bridge between DevRev, its partners, and their customers. You will combine strong software engineering, systems integration, and applied AI expertise to design, build, deploy, and scale solutions on the DevRev platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end partner lifecycle, from onboarding and certification to solution delivery and ongoing technical success.
• Create and deliver partner enablement courses, hands‑on training, and dashboards to track progress and readiness.
• Design, develop, and launch AI agents, integrations, and automations that connect DevRev with customers’ existing tech stacks.
• Build industry‑specific vertical solutions (e.g., pharma, financial services, retail) and co‑build them with partner product leaders.
• Develop internal tools, agents, and automations that accelerate DevRev’s field, delivery, and go‑to‑market teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software development, systems integration, or platform engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers and partners to translate business workflows into technical solutions.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python (Go is a plus).
• Experience with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and function calling.
• Deep knowledge of API integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, webhooks) and event‑driven/pub‑sub architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with serverless platforms (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers, observability).
• SQL querying, data mapping, schema alignment, and familiarity with graph data structures.
