Food & Beverage Service Associate – Hotel Front‑of‑House

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Food & Beverage Service team member to join our hotel in Thrissur. In this full-time, on-site position you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming dining experience across our restaurant and bar outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to their tables and present menus with detailed product knowledge.
• Accurately take orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar, and serve food and beverages promptly.
• Maintain clean and well-presented tables, service areas and dining rooms throughout the shift.
• Handle guest inquiries, process billing and payments, and address feedback or concerns professionally.
• Support special events, banquets and high-volume service periods.
• Follow all hygiene, safety and sanitation standards and collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Strong food service and beverage knowledge, including order taking and basic menu familiarity.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Foundational culinary understanding of ingredients, preparation basics and presentation.
• Previous experience in hotel, restaurant or café front-of-house roles is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work flexible shifts (including weekends and holidays) and adhere to hygiene and safety protocols.
• Team-oriented mindset, attention to detail and a professional, guest-focused attitude; basic proficiency in the local language and English is advantageous.
