Food & Beverage and Event Service Expert

About the role

The Food & Beverage and Event Service Expert will create memorable guest experiences at Marriott’s property on Vagator Beach Road, Goa. Working closely with the kitchen and event teams, you will ensure seamless service from set‑up to clean‑up for a variety of events and dining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up tables, event materials and service stations according to event specifications.
• Communicate orders and special requests with the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring high standards of hospitality.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, replenish supplies and handle post‑event breakdown.
• Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies; report incidents and maintenance needs.
• Present a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of company information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in food‑and‑beverage or event service.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb unassisted.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• No supervisory experience required.
