Financial Crime Compliance Manager

About the role

AML RightSource is looking for a Financial Crime Compliance Manager to lead a team of analysts in its Financial Crime Compliance Delivery Team. The manager coaches and mentors the team so that projects meet organizational and client objectives, has direct client contact and builds cross-functional communication across internal business units. The role suits someone who is a subject matter expert in KYC and AML.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of 25+ analysts, identifying top talent and coaching and developing leaders.
• Evaluate team members on hire, termination, advancement, promotion or other job changes.
• Interact regularly with major clients to strengthen partnerships, report results and identify new service opportunities.
• Oversee the team's production and results, seek efficiency improvements and conduct quality control reviews.
• Provide production and service reporting to senior leadership and clients.
• Work with the partnership team to expand advisory services and consulting opportunities.
• Take part in internal strategic initiatives across the Managed Services practice with Senior Managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years or more of AML or Know-Your-Customer experience.
• Management experience and proven decision-making ability.
• Ability to lead projects, set timelines, coordinate project teams and implement action items.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and collaboratively.
• Preferred: professional certification (ACAMS), Master's degree, entrepreneurial spirit and strong collaboration.
