Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Finance Controller is the senior‑most controllership leader for Lenskart worldwide, overseeing the integrity of the group’s books, the quality and timeliness of financial reporting, and the strength of the internal control environment across more than 15 countries and 30 legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, audited quarterly and annual financial statements to the Board and Audit Committee, managing the statutory audit calendar end‑to‑end across multiple currencies, GAAPs (Ind AS, IFRS, local GAAPs) and audit firms.
• Drive end‑to‑end automation of the transaction backbone (AP, AR, R2R, consolidation, MIS) using AI‑based processing, reducing close cycle time and manual journal entries.
• Design, implement and continuously strengthen a listed‑company‑grade internal control environment, owning the ICFR framework, risk and control matrices, and ensuring zero significant deficiencies.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑calibre finance organisation, providing executive communication and serving as the primary finance interface with auditors, tax authorities and regulators.

Required profile

• Senior‑level finance leader with experience overseeing global finance functions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven track record of managing statutory audits, financial reporting and regulatory filings for listed entities.
• Demonstrated ability to industrialise finance operations through automation and AI.
• Strong capability to design and maintain robust internal control frameworks.
