Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support greenfield and M&A transactions across the AMEA region, focusing on financial modelling, valuation and risk analysis. Working under senior team members, the analyst will also assist in preparing financing plans and structuring project financings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial models and valuations of projects in line with investment guidelines and modelling standards.
• Conduct financial analyses, review and audit financial models.
• Assist in structuring and executing financing plans for new projects.
• Prepare accounting and tax impact assessments for transactions within financial models.
• Analyse risk allocation, bankability, optimisation and tax structuring.
• Support monitoring and review of internal methods for the AIFA team and ensure adherence to global standards.
• Propose enhancements to financial modelling and analytical methods.

Required profile

• Finance or Economics degree or professional qualification (CFA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a financial analyst, preferably in project finance, banking, advisory or accounting.
• Strong analytical abilities and ability to work independently under pressure.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling.
• Proficiency in Excel, including basic macro development.
• Knowledge of financial valuation methodologies.
