About the role
UPS is seeking a Finance Officer to support its finance operations as the company adapts to new EU VAT and customs regulations. The role will focus on managing intercompany adjustments and billing impacted by recent changes to EU de‑minimis rules.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and apply EU VAT de‑minimis updates and upcoming customs duty changes.
- Handle intercompany adjustments and billing processes affected by regulatory shifts.
- Collaborate with finance and tax teams to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
- Prepare documentation and support approvals for hiring related to finance resource needs.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and analysis related to EU operations.
Required profile
- Relevant finance or accounting qualification.
- Experience with EU VAT, customs duties, or international tax compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑changing, global environment.
